It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles R. Carmichael (Berkeley, California), who passed away on December 9, 2018, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wives, Lila and Carol; his children, Leslie Aguayo (Frank), Willie (Jeanie) and Janet Lockshin (Howard); his sisters, Barbara Horn and Judy Alt (John); and his grandchildren, Nathan Carmichael, Daniel Aguayo and Emily Lockshin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
