He was predeceased by: his parents, William Wilson and Bessie Wilson (Blair); his son Kenny Wilson; his grandson Iron Mike; and his brothers, William, Richard and Robert.

He is survived by: his wife Sandra Albertson; and his children, William Wilson, Linda Tippie and Barbara Cassidy (Tim). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren.
