She was predeceased by : her daughter Maureen. She is survived by : her husband William McCann (Bill); her brother Robert Mihan; her sons, James (Jennifer) and Robert McCann (Angela); and her grandchildren, Caitlin, Conor, Matthew and Sean McCann.

In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in the name of Clare McCann to the Lucille Packard Children's Hospital at Stanford in Palo Alto.
