With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Merilyn M. Hobbs of Carmel Valley, California, born in Oakland, California, who passed away on December 22, 2020 at the age of 93. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Merilyn M. Hobbs to pay them a last tribute.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Isabel Moore and Wirth Moore; her daughters, Julie Bryan (Tom) of Carmel and Tracy Jones (Jeff) of Carmel Valley; and her grandchildren, Jim Bryan (Jessie), Brian Jones (Tawnia), Kate Sedano (Jason) and Sarah Rediske (Carl). She was also cherished by 10 great-grandchildren.

Merilyn was an avid dog lover and mother to several rescue dogs over the years, and so the family asks that donations made in Merilyn's honor be sent to Peace of Mind Dog Rescue (P.O. Box 51554 Pacific Grove, CA 93950) or SPCA Monterey County (P.O. Box 3058 Monterey, CA 93942).
