She was predeceased by: her parents, John Mitchel Lewis and Adele Cadman Lewis; and her spouse Elwyn Lewis Simard. She is survived by: her children, Cadman E. 'Tad' Simard (Pam), Stephen L. Simard and Karen L. Richardson. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.
