Maxie Chavarria Gonzales Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maxie Chavarria Gonzales (Caruthers, California), who passed away on January 15, 2021 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Polly; his parents, Fermin Gonzales and Rosa Gonzales; his sons, Max, Jr., Paul (Eleanor) and Anthony (Ayako); his grandchildren, Felicia Hope, Ashley Ruiz, Natsume, Yuzuru and Minato; and his great grandchildren, Gabriel and Neveah Ruiz.
Following cremation and a private scattering of ashes, a celebration of his life will be held in the near future, following the resolution of the pandemic.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers or other remembrances a donation be made in his name to UCSF Alzheimer & Memory Center, 155 N. Fresno Street, Fresno CA 93701.
