She was predeceased by : her sisters, Marjorie Pridgen and Frances Clark; and her son Geoffrey Gamez. She is survived by : her husband Robert A. Gamez; her sons, Robert Charpentier, Jeremy and Johnathan Gamez; her grandchildren, Mercy Charpentier, Iris Tanksley, Julia Charpentier, Katherine, Joshua, Kenneth, Zachary and Kristopher Gamez; her great grandchild Zoya Tanksley; and her sisters, Eloise Crisp, Jorene Conn and Marie Lindsey.

In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to the Salvation Army in her memory.
