It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Shallenberger (Chico, California), born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, who passed away on April 4, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Katherine Connell and Charles Connell; her husband Gary; her son Kevin; her daughter-in-law Theresa; and her grandchildren, Alyssa Nypl, Ryan and Josephine Shallenberger. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

Due the COVID-19 "social distancing" order, a celebration of life event for Mary will be delayed until the order is lifted - date, time and place to be announced.

Memorial gifts would be welcomed by Trinity United Methodist Church, Chico; the American Cancer Society or The Butte County Humane Society.
