He was predeceased by: his parents, Ken Smith and Edith Kawata; and his siblings, Karen George and Rod Smith. He is survived by: his stepchildren, Jill Harper, Lisa Sisley and Jeff Harper (Jessica); his wife Sheila; his sister Charlotte; his brother-in-law Bill Gaultney of Oroville, CA.; his brother Bill; his sister-in-law Erin Clarkson of Roseville, CA.; his siblings' children, Mark, Chuck Jones and Denise Kithley; his brother-in-law Jim George; and his siblings' children, Debbie George, Bob and Scott George.
