He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lee and Almena Meyer; his wife Martha "Marty" Meyer; and his daughter Mary Carroll Snyder. He is survived by: his sons, Richard Wayne VanCleave, Charles Thomas Lee VanCleave and Richard Wayne Van Cleave; his daughter-in-law Ann VanCleave; and his brother Wayne R. Meyer. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren.
