She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Bernal Grijalva and Trini Velarde Smythe (Tonie); and her half-brother Ralph Grijalva. She is survived by: her husband Edward; her children, Luis Hetzler (Ling) and Lisa; her stepchildren, Eddie (Monica), Frank Zazueta (Denise) and Connie Ann Queen (Jaime); her grandchildren, Brian C. McCoy, Crystal Whiting (Raymond), Lauren, Zachary and Nathan Zazueta; her great grandchildren, Desmond J. McCoy, Raymond F. Whiting and Colton R. Whiting; her sisters, Carmen G. Arroyos and Lucille Rodriquez; and her sisters-in-law, Martha O. Hetzler, Mary Laizure (Charles) and Rosie. She is also survived by friends and interacting with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, please contact a member of the family if you wish to attend because attendance will be limited.
In lieu of flowers, Yolanda requested donations be made in her name to a local Battered Women's Shelter.
