He was predeceased by: his father Joseph Aloysius Riedell; and his son Jerome Riedell. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Baracosa-Alcaide of Brisbane, CA; and his children, Tim Riedell (Ben) of Anchorage, AK, Chris Riedell (Deanna) of Vacaville, CA, Mark Riedell (Coleen) of Redmond, OR, Ron Riedell (Ramona) of Sacramento, CA, Teresa Madrigal (Ed) of Brisbane, CA, Jennifer Madrigal (Rich), Rick Riedell (Roxanna), Joey Riedell (Sue) of Sacramento, CA, Frank Riedell (Darcy) of Campbell, CA, Elena Lattari (Mike) of Pacifica, CA and Maria Deane (Nick) of Pacifica, CA. He is also survived by his 25 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Duggan's Serra Mortuary (500 Westlake Ave, Daly City, CA 94014). A rosary will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Church of the Visitacion (655 Sunnydale Ave, San Francisco, CA 94134). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery (1500 Old Mission Rd, Colma, CA 94014).
