She was predeceased by : her mother Gladys Vivian Reed; and her stepfather Boston Reed. She is survived by : her sons, Jared Jacob, Darrick Jacob (Maria) of Los Angeles and Anton Gates of Thermal; her brother Byron Peck (Nobi) of San Diego; and her grandchildren, Destiny DeAlba, Darrick Jacob Jr. (DJ) and Nala Jacob. She is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
