He was predeceased by : his parents, Henry William Grothen (Hank) and June Carroll Grothen; and his sister Sharon Grothen Johnson. He is survived by : his children, Wendy Anne Hoffman (Brian), Joie Linda Thomasson (Robert) and Douglas William Grothen (Simone); his grandchildren, Alyssa Whitten, Kenneth Grothen, Kyle Grothen, Katie Grothen, Krista Grothen, Kelly Grothen, Johanna Grothen and Noah Grothen; his wife Jennifer; and his siblings, Tamara Grothen Lowrey, Dick Grothen and Larry Bonds. He is also survived by Children Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
