He is survived by : his former life partner Sandi Moore Williams; his wife Kathy Fowler; his children, Sherry Gilchrist (Ken), Shawn Fowler and Sandy Fowler (Will Hartman); his stepdaughters, Jeanette Fisher and Stephanie James (Dwayne); his grandchildren, Tawnee Gilchrist, Kyle Gilchrist, Keli Gilchrist, Chandler Fowler, Jayce James, Christian Hartman and Charise Hartman; and his great grandchild Tynlee Gilchrist.

In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to your local Cancer organizations.
