He was predeceased by: his parents, Elsi Burgin and Fred Burgin; his wife Irene Burgin; and his sister Viola Avis. He is survived by: his siblings, Charles (Donna Burgin) of Colorado, Kenny (Cheryl Burgin) of Auberry, Jean (Joe Rodriguez) of Brentwood and Jerry Shrader (Skip) of Antioch; his stepson Steven Penny of Dos Palos; his daughter Jamie K. Burgin (Wesley Barger); his grandchildren, Nicole of Dos Palos and Zachary Rocha of Dos Palos; and his great grandchildren, Shayla, Eric, Kimberly, Sierra, Savannah and Cherry Lynn. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
