She was predeceased by: her children, Robert Jr. and Pauline. She is survived by: her spouse John Hartford Barbour (Jack); and her children, Jane, Katie, Maryanne, Jim, Teresa and Tom. She is also survived by 8 children, 16 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
She served on many Church and School committees always ready to help others. "Mary was a long term residence of El Centro from 1945 to 1975 raising 8 children. She was married to Robert A Eyer who died in 1957 and remarried Jack H Barbour in 1959. The Eyer families have long been residents of El Centro and many attending El Centro Union High. Mom attended St. Marys Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. James Catholic Church in Gulfport C/O St. Vincent de Paul Society, 366 Cowan Rd, Gulfport, MS 39507.
