With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard Keith Lewis Jr. (El Cerrito, California), born in Oakland, California, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 4, 2025 at the age of 65. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Lewis and Ida Lorene Lewis; and his granddaughter Taleah. He is survived by: his sons, Domonique Maurice (Shaveda) and Nicholas Keith (Taleah); his grandchildren, Daylen, Daylon, Saneyah, Dayvon, Nicholas, Ny'lah and Naleah; his former wife Wanda Lewis; his sisters, Renee Sykes (Charles), Frances Lewis, Carolyn Jackson (Keith) and Cheryl Johnson (Edmund); and his friends, Alfred Terrell, Robert Gates and Derek Milton. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A reception was held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Sunset View Mortuary (101 Colusa Ave, El Cerrito, CA 94530).
