She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Sophore Turner and Lucille Fannymae Willingham; her husband Raymond Appling; her son Ronald Appling; her siblings, Danny, Russell, Jimmy Turner and Betty Berryhill; and her in-laws, Ernest, Jo Appling, Robert Appling, Harold Appling, James and Donna Pack.
She is survived by: her friend Cenie; her granddaughters, RaeShelle Hand and RaeAnna Butterfield (Hand); her children, Karen Hand (David) of Ephrata and Raymond Jr. Appling (Robin) of Yakima; her grandchildren, Sierra Williams (Brandon) of Ephrata, WA, Shayla Vernon (Derrick) of Ephrata, WA, Stacy Lyon (Brian) of Ephrata, WA, Rebecca Kurdziel (Kevin) of Ephrata, WA, James Hand (Worawee) of Ephrata, WA, Kathryn Ward (Matthew) of Bonney Lake, John-Paul Pease (Alexandra) of Vancouver, WA, Alec Pease (Hailey) of Yakima, Gabriel Hipple of Moses Lake and Alissa Maughn of Spokane; her sister Ruth Edwards of Farmersville, CA; and her siblings-in-law, Donald Appling (Christine) of Oklahoma and Faye Appling of Stockton, CA. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, March 6th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Scharbachs Columbia Funeral Chapel (300 G St SE, Quincy, WA 98848).
