She was predeceased by : her parents, Bernardino Rodriguez and Guadalupe Montejano. She is survived by : her children, Carlos Chavez, Bernie Chavez and Esmeralda Chavez; her stepchildren, Robert Chavez, Tony Chavez and Rosanna Bernal Chavez; her grandchildren, Carlos Chavez Jr, Angel Chavez, Nathaniel Chavez and Jonathan Romero-Chavez; and her siblings, Irma Jasso, Alfredo Rodriguez, Rodolfo Rodriguez, Diana Rodriguez and Delfina Rodriguez. She is also survived by numerous step grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
