She was predeceased by: her parents, Leata May Reynolds and Earl Johnson Lindsay; her husband Thomas Leon Stringham; and her children, Roy, Carrie Hurt and Laurie Lee.

She is survived by: her sons, Rex, Guy and Jeff Stringham. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren as well as numerous other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
