He is survived by: his wife Lupe Chavez of Fowler, CA; his children, Joe Chavez (Joey) of Fresno, CA, Yvonne Medina (Cirilo), Annette Lucero (Carl) and Anna Casey (Tim); his siblings, Helen Hernandez (Rudy) of Apple Valley, CA, Mary Lou Hernandez of Montebello, CA, Richard Chavez (Lilieth) of Corona, CA, Ernie Chavez (Barbara) of Pomona, CA and Arthur Garcia (Fran) of Ventura, CA; his sisters-in-law, Alice Chavez and Rosalie Chavez of Hacienda Heights, CA; his brothers, Daniel Chavez, Charlie Chavez and Fred Chavez; and his nephew Tony Blancarte. He is also survived by 9 Grandchildren; 21 Great-grandchildren.
