She was predeceased by : her parents, Anastacio Martinez and Juana Martinez; her husband Gilbert E. Basua; her son Gilbert Jr.; and her siblings, Victor, Albert, Issac Martinez and Elena Ibarra.

She is survived by : her sister Guadalupe Flores; and her daughters, Laura, Elizabeth and Gloria. She is also survived by son in laws, six grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
