He was predeceased by: his wife Bobbie Huxley; his children, Curtis William Huxley, Cynthia Huxley and Michael Jay Huxley; his parents, Marvin Huxley and Lillie Huxley; and his sister Sharon Kay Bekeschus.

He is survived by: his children, Javonna Jones, John Barton Huxley and James Marvin Huxley; and his brothers, Ronald Eugene Huxley and Wayne Marvin Huxley.
