He is survived by: his children, Sal Gonzales and Shannon Gonzales; his grandchildren, Sal, Keanu, Angelina, Devin, Pace and Lyla Hernandez; his great grandchildren, Remy, Octivia and Bellemy; and his siblings, Sylvia Ackel, Clara Carrion, Ramona Gonzales (Richard), Teresa Gonzales, Delia Gonzalez (Richard), Frank Gonzales (Margo) and Gilbert Gonzales.

Due to Covid-19, a private service will be held at a later date.
