He was loved and cherished by many people including: his sister Vera McKay; his children, Debby Cathers (Rich), Alan McKay (Jeanie) and Cheryl Moffatt (Jonathan); his parents, Roy McKay and Melvina McKay; and his wife Julia Zimmerman. He was also cherished by 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
