He was predeceased by : his parents, Oden T. Lindsey and Stella Mae Lindsey (Taunton); and his sisters, Juanita Lorimer, Mary Lou Lehr, Helen Thomas and Dawnyse Lindsey (Summerhays).

He is survived by : his sons, Rodney, Jeffery, John and William. He is also survived by three daughter-in-laws, (who he always viewed as his own), fourteen grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
