She was predeceased by : her husband Martin Duenas; her parents, Merced Martinez and Lucielle Martinez; and her siblings, Jimmy Martinez and Caroline "Carol" Madera (Martinez).
She is survived by : her brother Hecker Pass; her son Mark Ashford (Vanessa); her grandchildren, Ashley Sotelo (Myranda), Miranda Ashford, Alexia Ashford and Heather Ashford; and her siblings, Manual Martinez (Marian), Mary Davis (Tom), Olga Martinez, Bertha Cordova (Steve), Betty Martinez and Mark Martinez (Tina). She is also survived by many nephews, nieces and great nephews and nieces.
