She was predeceased by: her parents, Manuel Furtado and Diolinda Furtado; her brother Manuel "Mel" Furtado; and her sister-in-law Madeline Furtado. She is survived by: her daughter Lucilia Leonardo (Daniel); her grandchildren, Jeffrey Leonardo and Shannon Leonardo; her great grandchild Taylor Yslava; and her sibling's children, Marilyn Allen (Richard), Gary Allen and Greg Allen.
