He was predeceased by : his parents, Cuu Tieu and Sang Thi Ly. He is survived by : his wife Lang Tran; his children, Tuong, Thanh, Tan and Phuong; his children-in-law, Paul, Kyoko and Patricia; his grandchildren, Leo, Teevan and Chloe; and his siblings, Keo, Tien, Lang, Nam, Khen and Ngoc. He is also survived by spouses plus numerous nephews & nieces.

A reception was held on Friday, May 31st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Chapel of the Chimes (32992 Mission Blvd, Hayward, CA 94544, USA).
