He was predeceased by : his mother Laura of La Mesa, CA. He is survived by : his wife Erika Larson; his father Mike Sr. (Joan) of Temecula, CA; his sister Amy Gilpin (Bradley); and his nieces and nephews, Brayden, Madelyn and Brooklyn of Discovery Bay, CA..

A Celebration of Life and his interment will be scheduled and announced at a later date due to the ongoing Covid 19 crisis.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his honor to the American Cancer Society.
