He was predeceased by: his former wife Gloria Kindig (Holdcroft); and his grandson Brandon Mitchell. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Kindig; and his children, Stephen Kindig (Lisa), Mark Kindig (Diana), Julie Kindig, Gaylin Schmitz (Walt) and Gina Sylvies (Steve). He is also survived by his 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Stan's memory can be made to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary (bestfriends.org) and Lancaster United Methodist Church, honoring his love for animals and his spiritual home.
