Florence E. Sowden Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Florence E. Sowden of Live Oak, California, who passed away on February 11, 2021 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her husband Ray; her parents, Raymond Ploeg and Ida Vander Ploeg; and her siblings, Frances Smart, Margaret Snyder and Richard Vander Ploeg.
She is survived by : her children, William "Buzz" Sowden of Live Oak, Melanie Sowden of Los Osos, Raymond "Bud" Sowden of Gridley and Rebecca Gomes (Scott) of Yuba City. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations to Hospice would be appreciated.
