“Gosh! I am Valerie's pen pal from grade six. I live in Canada. I was emailing her this week and had not heard back. Her phone line out of order. I just Google her to see if i can find her work and found this page. I was wanting to visit in a few weeks. I am saddened to hear this news. Your mom and i wrote often when we were younger. I remember when she came to Canada and we met. My condolences and will miss her.”
