He was predeceased by : his parents, Nolberto Sr. Chavira and Francisca Chavira; and his siblings, Nolberto Jr., Frank Sr., Manuel Sr., Nick Sr., Ramon, Ramiro Sr., Cecil Sr. Chavira, Juana Elisalde, Nena Caserez and Gloria Villalobos.

He is survived by : his sister JoAnn Chavira Romo. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
