She was predeceased by: her parents, David Lafanette and Clara Lafanette; her husband Walter Tyler Sr.; and her children, Joseph L. Tyler and Jacqueline "Jackie" Tyler.
She is survived by: her sister Florence Hawkins of Avondale, AZ; and her children, Charmain Lazine of Lompoc, Walter Tyler (Thelma) of St. Louis, MO, Shirley Drouillard of Lompoc, CA, Brenda Tyler of Lancaster, CA, Glory J. Moore of Lompoc, CA, Rhoda Tyler of Las Vegas, NV and Carolyn Robinson (Irving) of Lompoc, CA. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, 20 grandchildren, 59 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, and many close family friends.
