He was predeceased by: his wife Marianne; and his parents, John Niesen and Florence Niesen. He is survived by: his daughter Andrea Stammreich (Niesen); his granddaughters, AnneMarie and Violet; his daughters, Barbara Niesen-Burkhart and Joan Niesen of Lompoc; his granddaughter Stefani; and his siblings, Rosemary Sprague, Chicago Heights, John Niesen and Margaret Niesen.
