He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Spiese and Esther Spiese; and his brother George W. Spiese. He is survived by: his son-in-law Shawn; his wife Rhonda Spiese; his grandson Shane Mello; his son Gary Spiese of Santa Barbara, CA; his sister Paula Spiese (Larry) of Oakland, CA.; his pets, Lucky, Layla and Luna; and also Mark Powers.
