He is survived by: his wife Linda Shaw Atkin; his children, Christine Kreps of Lompoc, Brenda Saletta (Christopher) of Los Osos, Debbie Magallanes of Lompoc, Shane Atkin (Tammy) of Lompoc and John Dustin Atkin of Lompoc; his sisters, Bonnie Loveridge and Kay Stock of Utah; and his grandchildren, Joshua Magallenas, Brandon Saletta, Kelsey Atkin-Nothstein, Kyle Saletta, Tyler Magallenas and Karley Atkin.
