He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan McCaslin and Della McCaslin; and his wife Ellen Bittman. He is survived by: his children, John Bittman Jr. (Gilberta) and Carol Ingle (Dennis Lucas); his granddaughters, Kristin, Elizabeth and Ellen Ingle; and his brothers, Marvin McCaslin (Louise), Douglas McCaslin (Karen) and Kevin McCaslin (DeeDee).
