He was predeceased by: his parents, Kathleen Boyd Grant and Nelson Kendall Grant; and his brother Jerry. He is survived by: his wife Elaine; his siblings, Kathleen and David (Nadine); and his son Joshua (Kimberly). He is also survived by three granddaughters, many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Boyd requested that his friends and family make donations to the homeless shelter of their choice.
