Ruth O'Brien Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth O'Brien of Lompoc, California, born in Brewer, Maine, who passed away on February 10, 2021 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her significant other Richard Everett O'Brien of Lincoln, ME; her sons, Richard (Janice O'Brien), Timothy (Benay O'Brien), Matthew (Karyn O'Brien) and Jonathan (Charlotte O'Brien); her friend Jack Jones of Lompoc, CA.; her great grandchild Ruth; her cousin Bertha Jennings of Plymouth, MA; and her nieces and nephews, Beatrice Zimmerman of Mt. Pleasant, WI, Diane Hoag of Redmond, WA, Bruce and Ken Wiley of Nampa, ID.. She was also cherished by friends, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers and gifts, donations can be made to the nonprofit Rona Barrett Foundation (http://www.ronabarrettfoundation.org) that provides housing and support for vulnerable seniors.
