He is survived by: his son Jett; his parents, Betty Ann and Alexis Mortensen (Lex); his brother Andrew Mortensen; his former wife Cara Mortensen; and his significant other Tina Mercer. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, and cousins.

There will not be a memorial service for Ryan at this time due to the Corona Virus.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Ryan Mortensen Family Fund organized by his brother Andrew Mortensen.
