She was predeceased by: her mother Helen Gardner; and her sister Rebecca Deboer. She is survived by: her husband Robert Muus; her daughter Michele Muus-Mendibles (Michael) of Lompoc; her granddaughters, Ellie and Jessie; and her siblings, Harold Joe Gardner (Mary) of Bullhead City and Jacqueline Greenwood (Brian).
