He is survived by: his children, Jo-Lynn Nelsen of Lompoc and James William Nelsen; his siblings, Harold Nelsen of Worthington and Kathleen Waters of Iowa; his friend Susan Marsh; his niece Brenda K. Baldwin; his wife Betty Lois Nelsen (Colton); and also Huntington Beach.
