We are sad to announce that on August 13, 2025, at the age of 74, Salvador Barrios (Los Angeles, California) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Rosalia Barrios. He is survived by: his father Roman Barrios; his wife Beatrice; his children, Salvador Jr., Adrian and Michelle; his grandchildren, Sabrina, Salvador III (Anthony), Angel, Julie, Angelica and Giselle; and his great grandchildren, Lailah and Kaz Salvador.

Salvador had many awards and accolades in his career, most notably was being a recipient of Nasa's acclaimed Silver Snoopy Award, presented to him for his key safety and efficiency design contributions to the Main Engine of the Space Shuttle (SSME).
