We are sad to announce that on September 10, 2021, at the age of 93, Corina Brazil (Merced, California), born in Gustine, California passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose Brazil and Anna Brazil (Moniz); her siblings, Joseph, David Brazil and Angie Lewis (Brazil) of Los Banos; her son David Chaves of Montana; and her grandson Peter Douglas Martinez.
She is survived by: her daughters, Anna Lee Chaves, Candace Wurthmann (Chaves), Bernadette Hudson (Chaves) and Valerie Mazany (Pryor); and her grandchildren, Justin, Mariah, Sadie, Joseph, Alysia, Sierra, Angelina, Julia, Aaron, Ben, Elizabeth, Timothy, Daniel, Rebekah, Britney, Derek and Meagan. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren, four great, great grandchildren, one niece and three nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can made in her memory to the Merced County Historical Society or the Merced Multi-Cultural Arts Center.
