He was predeceased by: his wife Janet; and his parents, Edward Rosa and Mercedes Washburn. He is survived by: his children, James Rosa Jr. (Pam) of Costa Mesa, Maryanne Brown (Mike) of Yuba City, Josephine Rosa of Merced and Joan Araujo (David Araujo) of Ventura; and his siblings, Lawrence Brown (Rita) of Sonoma, Tom Brown (Deanna) and Judy Prine of Merced. He is also survived by six grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Contributions may be to the Diocesan Priests Retirement Fund, c/o St. Patrick's Parish or a charity of your choice.
