She is survived by: her son Eric Padilla; her daughter-in-law Sara Padilla; her grandsons, Torsten and Odin Padilla; her niece Marsha Janis; her sister Sonya Bien Carlson; her siblings' children, Jessica Carlson, Jeanine Cardenas and Dennis Carlson; her brother Manuel Thomas Janis; her sister-in-law Michelle Janis; her nephews, Michael Janis, Manuel Janis Jr. and Nathaniel Janis; her sister Frances Padilla; her siblings' children, Michel Stevens (Mike), Emily Holland and Melissa Holland; her brother Bobee Padilla; her sister-in-law Megan Padilla; her nephew David Padilla III; and her cousin Richard Paulsen.

She also enjoyed organizing local fundraisers and charity events.
