It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lucille Barnes (Merced, California), born in Seattle, Washington, who passed away on December 28, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Howard Woods and Annie Woods; her grandfather John Slaton; her aunt Levongia Slaton; her uncle Jack; her husband Danny Barnes; her children, Charles of Merced, John, Daniel (Deneva) of Fresno, Denise of Sacramento and Diane (Fred) of Sacramento; and her siblings, Bertha, John and Rosetta. She was also cherished by 11 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and family members.
